What is the difference between rectified and non-rectified tiles?
Non-rectified tiles have what’s also called a ‘cushion edge’. This is the result of the tiles
being pressed into shape and fired. Rectified tiles have an extra step at the end of firing
where the tiles are cut to an exact size. This results in a sharp right angle edge, which when
laid gives a very flat almost seamless surface appearance across the tiles.
